In addition to focusing on the graduate level nursing competencies the Master of Science in Nursing Nurse Educator concentration develops students for the nurse educator role The Nurse Educator concentration blends core nursing courses with education theory and practice In conjunction with faculty members from the School of Education and Human Services nursing faculty assist students with obtaining practical teaching experience and knowledge in this specialty As a result UM-Flint graduates will be qualified for faculty positions staff nurse educator positions and other teaching roles
