This programme allows you to pursue and develop your interests across the discipline of philosophy It builds on a core module which introduces you to central disciplinary skills and knowledge with choice from a range of optional modules in the various sub-disciplines You will take five taught modules each assessed by a 5 000 word essay The programme culminates in the writing of a 20 000-word dissertation in a subject area of your own choosing that has been agreed in partnership with an academic supervisor
