Our MSc Construction Management enjoys a great heritage being the longest established in the UK and the second oldest in the world Choosing Loughborough as your destination of study will mean you can draw on the wealth of experience and expertise acquired throughout the programme s long history As construction projects become more socially and technically complex in a changing world dominated by a concern for sustainability there has been a growing challenge to develop existing and new expertise in construction management This programme is designed to develop your knowledge and skills in management design technology sustainability strategy and procurement and to advance your career within the construction industry undergoing a digital transformation Our Construction Management programme differs slightly in module selection from our other construction programmes It shares the same set of core semester one modules but you are required to nurture a generalist outlook in semester two selecting any two modules from a set of business-oriented modules and a further two from a set of project management-oriented modules Therefore this programme offers the most flexible module selection compared to our other construction programmes
