We ll give you a grounding in the two key branches of accounting management and financial accounting teaching you how to prepare business accounts and critically analyse financial decisions We ll show you how businesses design and control their operations exploring how economic factors affect business decisions You ll study models for management and leadership as well as gaining an understanding of how corporate governance works You ll also get a grounding in the legal context for accounting and business looking at the areas of UK and EU law that directly affect the legal structure and operations of businesses Your lecturers will use their years of industry experience to bring accounting and business theories to life Plus you ll gain professional work experience through your two professional work placements experiencing daily life in your planned career and building your own network of connections for the future
