The Writing courses at King s help students from all disciplines develop academic literacies critical thinking skills and their own distinct voices Students benefit from taking Writing 1020F G Introduction to University Essay Writing early in their careers Students who use English as a second language take Writing 1002F G and 1022F G companion courses that offer extended practice in academic writing Mature writers enjoy the intense dialogic approach of Writing 2101F G Introduction to Expository Writing Writing 2260F G and 2301F G involve active learning and teach advanced skills in workplace writing and tutoring pedagogy English 3998E is an exciting workshopped Creative Writing course open to all students Writing 3700G Writing Advocacy and Justice a new Special Topic course to be offered in January 2021 will discuss writing as a social justice issue and examine approaches to advocacy
