This collaborative graduate program prepares students for careers in biomedical engineering and provides them with the opportunity to advance their own research tap into Ryerson s leading faculty-based research and work on industry-related projects Throughout the program students are supported by a network of experienced faculty supervisors and have opportunities for training at research hospitals such as St Michael s Hospital and the University Health Network This program supports student development in biomedical engineering R D which is ranked as the number-one job in the health-care industry to meet the demand for better medical devices more sophisticated medical equipment and improved biomedical procedures
