The Electronics Engineering Technician program will prepare you for a challenging career in the electronics field Through an optimum balance of hands-on experience and theory courses in this college diploma program will cover areas such as wireless communications data communications microcontrollers and industrial systems To develop a solid foundation in modern electronics you ll work in labs with computers communication transceivers and electronics testing and measurement equipment Two years in length the college engineering program will also give you the option to continue your studies by transferring into the fifth semester of its Technologist version To do so you ll be required to have a minimum 2 0 GPA
