As organisations become ever more dependent on data there are increasing opportunities in specialist positions related to obtaining processing and visualising data The MSc Big Data Analytics provides you with the skills and knowledge to develop your interests for a career in data science You will be ideally placed to progress into roles where you will work as a data scientist or data analyst The programme has initial accreditation from BCS The Chartered Institute for IT on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer The programme also has initial accreditation from BCS The Chartered Institute for IT for the purposes of partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional Initial accreditation is granted to new programmes which are yet to have a graduating cohort Successfully completing an accredited BCS course is the first step to full BCS membership and to being awarded chartered status
