If you want to pursue a career as a civil or structural engineer or go further as a researcher or academic our course equips you to take the next step We work with industrial partners to make sure that you develop the practical and theoretical expertise that employers value in graduates These include technical communication and design skills You ll also have the chance to study with students on other construction-related MSc courses preparing you for working in industry Our students have gone on to work in some of the top UK and overseas engineering and design companies including AECOM Atkins and Foster Partners Some of our graduates choose to further their studies with us through our PhD programme to pursue academic and research careers
