It provides practical and theoretical understanding of the most important current topics in molecular medicine including the biology of cancer synthetic biology cardiovascular diseases and stem cells and regenerative medicine You will also gain hands-on training in research techniques such as confocal microscopy flow cytometry cloning in situ hybridisation and bioinformatics and you will carry out your own 15-week independent research project With a variety of taught modules you will learn to apply your skills to industry-relevant challenges
